Parent Collaboration Committee

The PCC was created in 2015 as a way to connect parents to MVS. We wanted to open lines of communication to ensure that all thoughts, needs, and ideas were heard. The PCC meets on a. monthly basis, sometimes at school, sometimes out in town, and sometimes at families homes. The PCC helps to plan school events, fundraisers, and celebrations for the teachers. 
Upcoming Events we need help with!
Valentine's Day
  • We are going to have a heart prep party for parents to help get pins on hearts and boxes for delivery. Join us at Thomas Lane from 4-5 PM to help prep some felt hearts! If you are willing to take a box and drop it off somewhere, let us know! We try to get as many felt hearts out in town as possible. 
  • Breakfast for teachers: we are getting coffee, muffins, and bagels for teachers (both for the Annex and Thomas Lane). If you can help with pick up or delivery, please let us know. Jill Monier and Rory Heilakka will be coordinating. 
  • Philanthropic efforts: we are donating baby items (diapers, wipes, creams) to victims of the fires in Southern California. We are also collecting for items for the Lamoille Food Share for the month of February. If you'd like to help gather items or deliver them, please let us know. 

March Gear Swap
We are setting up a table at Thomas Lane for the week of March 24th. We need help getting everything organized, set up, and broken down at the end of each day this week. We also need someone to volunteer to donate all leftover items at the end of the week. 

St. Patrick's Day
Stowe Vibrancy is trying to bring back a heart St.Paddy's day celebration in the town. We are going to try and have a parade and celebration on Main Street. let us know if you're interested in helping out and spreading some green!
